The Base Step

Before anything targeted, the body needs a foundation. The Base step gently reduces overall systemic overload and prepares the ground for whatever direction your observation reveals.

Why this comes first

Most people arrive with everything at once

In practice, the majority of people who come to Via Vitae — especially those over 40 — do not arrive with one clean, isolated problem. They arrive with a background of overlapping conditions that are all present at the same time.

Attempting to address each one separately from the start creates overload, confusion, and inconsistent results. The body needs to be stabilised before it can be directed.

This is why the Base step always comes first — not as a delay, but as the most intelligent starting point.

Common overlapping conditions on arrival
Blood sugar & pressure
Digestive discomfort
Hormonal imbalance
Chronic fatigue
Pre-menopausal changes
Skin & joint tension
Cognitive fog
Vascular stress
Inflammation background
Post-viral recovery
Three goals

What the Base step achieves

The Base step does not treat a diagnosis. It does not target a single body system. It works across the whole system at once — gently and without overload.

1

Reduce overall system overload

The body is carrying too much at once. The Base step does not add pressure — it removes it. By gently supporting the foundational regulatory pathways, it creates space for the body to begin responding.

2

Equalise the baseline response

When the system is overloaded, its responses are inconsistent and hard to read. The Base step brings the baseline to a steadier state — making what follows clearer, more predictable, and more effective.

3

Prepare for personalisation

Personalisation does not precede stabilisation — it emerges from it. Once the base response is established and observed, the right direction for targeted support becomes visible. Not before.

Tools for the Base Step

Three products. One starting point.

Most people begin with the same combination — a gentle, consistent protocol that works across metabolic, digestive, and circulatory pathways simultaneously.

Gynura Loose Leaf Tea
Tea · Daily Ritual

Gynura Loose Leaf Tea

50 g · Brewed twice daily

The simplest and most direct form of Gynura procumbens. A gentle daily ritual that begins the regulatory process — supporting blood sugar balance, circulation, and metabolic calm.

Armoglykin
Supplement · Metabolic Support

Armoglykin

Tablets · 1–2 before meals

Supports healthy blood sugar, blood pressure, and lipid balance. Works alongside the tea to address the metabolic and circulatory background that most people arrive with.

Gastroleucin
Gut Health · Barrier Support

Gastroleucin

Gynura in olive oil · 150 ml

Restores the gut mucosa, supports microbiota balance, and addresses the digestive overload that underlies many of the conditions people arrive with. A cornerstone of the Base.

Step Two

The Observation phase

Duration: 1–2 weeks

After the Base products are introduced, a short observation window begins. This is not passive waiting — it is active attention to how your body responds and where it responds most strongly.

This observation — not a paper diagnosis — reveals where the next stage of support should be directed. The body's own response is the most reliable guide.

It is the observation, not a predetermined plan, that makes personalisation real. Boris describes this as the natural crystallisation of the method: the body shows you where it needs help most.

What to pay attention to
  • Overall sense of wellbeing — energy, heaviness, clarity
  • Digestion — ease, regularity, bloating, appetite
  • Sleep quality and morning readiness
  • Blood pressure readings if monitored at home
  • Blood sugar if monitored at home
  • Where tension or discomfort is most persistent
  • Skin changes — tone, reactivity, inflammation
  • Any area of the body that responds noticeably — positively or with more sensitivity
Step Three · Reinforcement

Five directions. One will be yours.

Once the Base is established and the observation phase is complete, support becomes targeted. Each program addresses a specific body system — with its own logic, its own tools, and its own pace.
